10 Key Benefits of My Professional Engineering Experience with ISRO
During my early childhood years, I enjoyed constructing little model domes, cathedrals and homemade structures out of marble stones and clay soil. Thereafter, I was inclined towards civil engineering. Eventually, I became an engineering supervisor at ISRO. Read about my professional history at the Indian Space Research Organisation below. In this blog, I've explored 10 key benefits of my professional engineering experience with ISRO. Let's read my journey.
About Indian Space Research Organisation
Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is the space research organisation of India. The organisation works in science, engineering and technology to help India and humanity benefit from space. The Department of Space (DOS) of the Indian government includes ISRO as a key component. The department primarily uses different Centres or Units within ISRO to carry out the Indian Space Programme.
ISRO's precursor, the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR) was established by the Indian government on Dr. Vikram Sarabhai's suggestion in 1962. When ISRO was created on August 15, 1969, INCOSPAR was replaced with a larger responsibility utilising space technology. When DOS was founded in 1972, ISRO was also a part of it.
Development and use of space technology for diverse national needs is the main goal of ISRO/DOS. ISRO has created significant space systems for communication, television broadcasting and meteorological services, resource monitoring and management and space-based navigation services in order to achieve this goal. For the purpose of launching satellites into the proper orbits, ISRO has created the PSLV and GSLV launch vehicles.
From Rocket Science to Professional Development: How My Experience with ISRO Shaped My Engineering Career
ISRO advances research and science education in the nation in addition to its technical growth. The Department of Space oversees a number of specialised research facilities and independent organisations that focus on remote sensing, astronomy and astrophysics, atmospheric sciences and space sciences in general. Along with fostering and promoting science education, ISRO's own lunar and extraterrestrial missions and other scientific endeavours also contribute to the advancement of science by giving the scientific community useful information.

My Career at ISRO Propulsion Complex
During my tenure with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), I worked in a location called the ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC) in Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu, India. It is used to test, assemble and integrate propulsion systems and stages that are created at the ISRO's Liquid Propulsion Systems Centres.
All liquid, cryogenic and semi cryogenic stage and engine tests for ISRO's launch vehicles and satellites are conducted at this ISRO centre, which is one of the organisation's facilities that could be referred to as the "Jet Propulsion Laboratory of India."
Facilities
Following activities are carried out at ISRO propulsion complex (IPRC).
