Master Complex Math in Civil Engineering: 10 Challenging Subjects with Mathematical Derivations Explained

Image
Civil engineering is a challenging field that requires a deep understanding of mathematics, physics, materials science and mechanics. Civil engineers are responsible for designing and building structures and systems that are safe, sustainable and efficient. However, the road to becoming a civil engineer is not an easy one and it involves mastering complex concepts and solving difficult equations. In this blog, I've written about 10 civil engineering subjects with challenging mathematical derivations and why they are challenging. As a civil engineer I've expressed my experience based on the civil engineering coursework I took. Cracking the Code: 10 Challenging Civil Engineering Subjects with Complex Mathematical Derivations Civil engineering is a broad field that encompasses many different specialties and each specialty has its own set of challenging derivations. However, here are 10 hardest and challenging mathematical derivations in civil engineering that are commonly cons...

10 Extensive Applications of Mathematics in Civil Engineering

Image
My father taught mathematics at the university level, so I have always been skilled with numbers and interested by math puzzles. In my higher secondary public test, I worked diligently, consistently and with determination, earning a math score of 96% (out of 200). I finished the test 40 minutes before it was supposed to. When I was finished, everyone in the exam room was diligently writing the exam because I had finished sooner due to my high level of motivation and subject-matter expertise. I used to adore making miniature cathedrals and domes out of marble stones and clay soil when I was a little child. In the years that followed, I developed a preference for civil engineering and construction. After some time, I was employed by ISRO as a civil engineer. I strongly believe that mathematics is the core of engineering. In this blog, we'll dig deeper into 10 extensive applications of mathematics in civil engineering. 10 Core Components of Mathematics in Civil Engineerin...

10 Key Benefits of My Professional Engineering Experience with ISRO

Image
During my early childhood years, I enjoyed constructing little model domes, cathedrals and homemade structures out of marble stones and clay soil. Thereafter, I was inclined towards civil engineering . Eventually, I became an engineering supervisor at ISRO. Read about my professional history at the Indian Space Research Organisation below. In this blog, I've explored 10 key benefits of my professional engineering experience with ISRO. Let's read my journey. About Indian Space Research Organisation Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is the space research organisation of India. The organisation works in science, engineering and technology to help India and humanity benefit from space. The Department of Space (DOS) of the Indian government includes ISRO as a key component. The department primarily uses different Centres or Units within ISRO to carry out the Indian Space Programme. ISRO's precursor, the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR) was estab...

20 Unique Reasons Why Civil Engineering is Known as the Mother of All Engineering

Image
When I was a little child, I loved constructing tiny churches, domes, homemade structures and constructions out of marble stones and clay soil. I began to favour civil engineering in the years that followed. I eventually became an engineering supervisor at ISRO . Having worked for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for a while, I boast of myself that I'm a proud civil engineer. Based on my knowledge, experience and the subjects I studied, I've assembled fascinating facts about why civil engineering is referred to as the "mother of all engineering." Let's check out the reasons below. Exploring the Unique Qualities of Civil Engineering and Why it is Considered the Foundation of All Engineering Disciplines Civil Engineering is one of the oldest and broadest branches of engineering, dealing with the design, construction and maintenance of the built environment. From ancient structures like the pyramids to modern-day skyscrapers, bridges and highways, civ...
